GUIDES / WHOLESALE SHOWROOMS
Wholesale showroom management software
Samples on the floor, buyer orders in one queue, and the line sheet in step with both.
What a wholesale showroom has to manage
A wholesale showroom shows a brand’s line to buyers and takes their orders. That means three things to keep straight: the samples on the floor, the orders buyers place, and the line sheet that says what is in the season.
When each lives in its own spreadsheet, every change means checking all three by hand.
What you can do with it
Tap one to see how it works.
- Samples on a live map
- A pull list when the sheet changes
- JOOR orders in the same queue
- Pricing for each account
- Duplicate checks
- Approvals before anything ships
- Pick from a phone
- Each buyer’s history in one view
A season in a wholesale showroom
Before market week, samples arrive and go up on the walls. During it, buyers walk the floor, try samples on and place orders, by hand, through wholesale marketplaces such as JOOR and NuORDER, by email or by EDI 850. After it, the orders have to be priced, checked and filled, and some styles need a cut ticket because there is not enough stock.
Through all of it the brand’s line sheet keeps changing. Each change means checking samples, orders and stock against the new sheet, usually across three or four spreadsheets.
Wholesale showroom management software puts the three in one place: the samples on a live map, every order in one queue, and the sheet they all follow.
What wholesale showroom software should cover
Use it as a checklist when you compare tools.
- Samples on a live map, with what each buyer tried
- Orders from JOOR, NuORDER, Faire, email, Excel and EDI in one queue
- Each account’s own prices on every order
- Duplicate orders caught before they ship
- Cut tickets when stock runs short
- A pull list when the sheet changes
- What each buyer owes, and how late
- Picking and shipping from a phone
How the three modules work together
Chukwu Floor keeps the samples and stock on the map. Chukwu Core takes every order into one queue, prices it for the account and checks it. Approved orders go to Chukwu Pick, which walks the picker to each item and prints the label.
Money owed is in Core too: AR aging by buyer, with each buyer’s orders and history on one page, and invoices sent to QuickBooks or Xero. See everything it connects to.
